Outdated Agreements
Volume #6
I've had the gift of doing 1:1 coaching/healing work again this past week. Every once in a while, I reopen my calendar when I have space to get back into the 'office' and sit across from one person at a time. It's powerful to be a sacred witness for someone's next breakthrough.
Session One: Outdated Agreements
My first client had her sister come throughâa spirit who passed over 30 years ago. Instead of crossing over, this sweet soul stayed attached to my client to help her survive the scrutiny and standards their parents held over her head.
The spirit was the eldest daughterâthe responsible, over-achieving, wants-to-please archetype. Good at everything, but secretly crumbling under the pressure inside.
When the spirit died, she continued her eldest daughter agreement by attaching to my client and changing her frequency field to care more about academics, performance, and outcomes.
Here's the problem: when we looked at my client's soul matrix, birth charts, and design, we discovered she wasn't here to seek validation, be a high performer, or prove anything to anyone. She's here to be an alchemist, sh*t-disturber, break matrixes and outdated rules, and live spontaneously. The conflict of having her sister's energy attached was causing OCD and anxietyâa constant internal war between who her soul was screaming at her to be and the incessant voices telling her to keep trying to be who her parents wanted. This led to her feeling like she was never enough and constantly letting someone down.
Her sister gave us incredible insight into the whole arrangement and let us know it was time for her to fully cross over and for my client to fly. Before she went, she shared the coolest validation about being a guide for my client's middle daughter. She told me to ask if her middle daughter had ever looked up as if daydreaming and said they were best friends. My client burst into tears, telling me about a moment when her daughter was 3âwith no idea this person existedâand said, 'E is my best friend!' Goosebumps.
After we crossed the soul over, the messages started streaming through about business, life, parenting, and my client finally had the clarity she needed to move forward with confidence.
Be still, my heart. I live for these moments.
The moral: All agreements have benefits until they don't. Sometimes we hang onto things long past their natural endings. Good intentions can eventually have negative consequences if they're no longer aligned with where we are in our life path.

Session Two: Alignment, Flow & Preferences
Client twoâwe'll call her Mâis one of my favorite people. Fierce, powerful, and does her work.
We were doing a business audit and alignment session. I secretly LOVE helping healers/coaches/practitioners get their practices off the ground. Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur until they realize how hard it is and how much they'll have to learn. Luckily, M has the persistence I wish most people would adopt.
M had fallen into the sneaky trap of trying to pace her business with her personal transformations. Over time, it became uncomfortable to work with folks farther behind in their journey. This is normalâit's a nervous system safety response. As we progress, we want our environment to match. So as she came into her own power and understood her values and life path, she wanted to be surrounded by others at the same level. I fell into this trap in 2023 too, so I could relate hard.
Here's the problem: people at the same level as you have no need to pay you.
This doesn't just happen in business. It got me thinking about the times I took a more egocentric path (without knowing it) in pursuit of 'alignment' and 'flow' and 'preference.'
Insert sneaky mindset that way too many people have adopted in the metaphysical & spiritual realm: flow = alignment.
This is the biggest lie I've had to crack through yet, and one I had to share with M too. Alignment to your mission & goals isn't going to feel like paddling your canoe on a crystal clear lake. No, it's more like taking a kayakâyour lower half stuck in itâheaded straight for the rapids on the craziest river you can find!
Why? Because if we're truly aligned with our purpose, we have to grow. And growth requires discomfort, pressure, tearing things down and rebuilding, reconsidering beliefs and installing better ones, and stepping out of the comfort we think we crave into the perception of the unknown where adaptation occurs.
Your mission will also ask you to put in the reps and keep revisiting your foundations. You might be well served to have someone on your team to call you out and call you up when your preferences and comfort zone try to kick in. It takes a village đ

"Dear Caitlin, Why haven't you posted anything condemning what's happening in the USA?"
I love that you asked this. Here's where I stand:
1) I am very clear on my mission.
Every time something pops up in the world, I check in with myself from a neutral place. I examine my mission and exactly how I'm supposed to make an impact. At my core, my job here is to be a space of safety, regulation, and pattern recognition. To help people walk through old cycles and usher in the new. That means I should not be causing more dysregulation or using my own beliefs to steer others. My mission is about helping you settle calmly into your own truth.
So regardless of where I stand on any of the crazy ish going on, I'm supposed to stay steady and out of drama when it comes to my presence, teachings, and support of others.
2) I see patterns.
Since 2020, we've gone through multiple cycles where algorithms, news channels, and political parties have positioned 9 different inflammatory issues as the center of attention. Once the hype wears off, searches diminish, and people's nervous systems regulate to what's going on as normal, they launch a new campaign. It happens like clockwork. Unfortunately, most of us don't notice the cycle. (BLM, MeToo, Missing Kids, Covid/Anti Vaxxers, LGBTQA2+, Ukraine vs. Russia, Islam/Muslim, ICE, and now Epstein.)
Most people don't see the pattern and don't check into their soul mission to figure out whether jumping into a particular movement or advocacy group is actually aligned, or accidentally feeding the dark forces using it for their rituals and energy harvesting. They mistake an emotional and fear-based response for advocacyâwhen it actually exacerbates the issue. When our nervous systems are hijacked by atrocious things, we aren't acting from clarity or education, we act from preservation and virtue. It's completely out of integrity for me and what I'm here to do to feed those forces or participate in these mass hypnosis and dysregulation events.
3) I create an impact where I am.
I believe in a 'make the community you live in better' approach. I see the macrocosm of hurt in the world, but I'm not here to change the entire worldâI'm here to make a difference with a small segment of the population. That starts at home. I look for ways to raise the frequency where I'm planted.
In my neighborhood, that's being on council and demonstrating embodied leadership, supporting initiatives that get moms educated, empowered, and back on their feet, providing guidance to newer healers/practitioners just getting started, and providing dignity for families at holidays who otherwise couldn't maintain their traditions because something knocked them down.
This way, I can stay embodied, regulated, and actually see my efforts making a difference. Which in turn generates higher levels of energy for me and allows me to continue supporting more people in my community.
This might not work for everyone, but I truly believe our efforts need to come closer to home to provide the frequency upgrades humanity so desperately needs.

đ§ What I'm Listening To
I'm obsessed with the link between our internal microbiome and how we feel daily. This podcast episode validated so many things I've been coaching my clients through that I couldn't find backup data for, and illuminated new layers I think everyone needs to know about! It's kinda science nerdyâyou'll love it if you're geeky like me đ

Please send bra recs!
Have you got any leads on organic cotton, hemp, or bamboo bras that you actually like? I want to replace some of mine and I'm not having much luck with garments that don't smoosh the girls together or make you wonder if you were born with a uniboob. đ
But I figured if anyone would have a lead, it would be my amazing community who care about the environment and what goes on their body! Send me all the recs please!!!
